30ILDV Series Gas Fireplace Insert

GLASS FRAME REMOVAL

NOTE: If the safety barrier is in place, you must first remove
it before you remove the glass frame. To remove the
barrier, simply lift up and pull out until the tabs are clear
of their corresponding slots on the firebox. Then proceed
to remove the glass frame by following the steps below.
1. Carefully remove upper filigree by pulling straight out.
2. Remove glass frame from insert by releasing two latches
on top of insert and lifting the door up and off the unit.

3. Set glass frame aside.
4. Re-install in reverse order.
WARNING
Make sure the glass panel edges do not touch any metal
parts during thermal expansion.
Always use gloves when handling broken glass.
