The ROM Memory Test is used to check the validity of the RIP code
and fonts. When this test is selected from the operator panel, the
printer begins testing ROM memory and the following screen
displays.
Terminology:
P:###### represents the number of times the memory test finishes
successfully. Initially 000000 displays for ######. The maximum
pass count is 999,999.
F:##### represents the number of times the memory test finishes
with errors. Initially 00000 displays for #####. The maximum fail
count is 99,999.
The power indicator blinks indicating the memory test is in process.

approximately three seconds and the Fail Count increments by 1.

stops and final test results display.
