Confirmation Tasks
Is a heavy load imposed on the ID unit, for example, because
the waste toner belt was ruptured?
Use the SWITCH SCAN function of the self-diagnostic mode to
check to see if each ID motor operates normally.
Make this checking in the presence and absence of a load.
Confirmation Tasks
Check for any incomplete insertion or skew insertion of the
SSNS connector of the PU PCB and the SSNS connector of the
toner sensor PCB. Also check to see if the FFC has any wire
breakage of peel-off of the covering.
After checking the connections, turn on the power again, and
see if the error is issued again.

Replace the ID unit. To
use a new ID unit on a
trial basis, use FUSE
KEEP MODE of the
System Maintenance
Menu.
Replace the PU PCB or
the ID motor.
Action at NG
Redo the connection of
the FFC properly. Or,
