Check to see if the ID unit has been left in an environment
where its surface was exposed to light for a long time.
Check to see if toner is leaking from the ID unit or toner
cartridge.
Check to see if the fuser unit has offset toner from the previous
print job sticking.

Check to see if an especially thin medium is used for printing.
Ensure visually that the high-voltage terminal of the ID unit is
properly in contact with the contact ASSY (see Figure 7-3).
