4.2.17 Toner sensor PCB Lift-Up Motor/Solenoid/Paper-End Sensor

(1) Detach the left side cover, right side cover, rear cover, top cover unit, and feeder unit. (See
Subsections 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.2.4, 4.2.8 and 4.2.16.)
(2) Disassemble the print engine controller PCB and CU PCB. (See Subsection 4.2.6, 4.2.7 and
4.2.12 (3).)
(3) Remove the guide cable Power Low, low-voltage power supply, and low-voltage fan. (See
Subsection 4.2.12.)
(4) Remove the cover driver, Junction PCB, color register Assy, and eject assembly. (See Subsection
4.2.13.)
(5) Remove two screws (silver) 1 and plate driver 2.
(6) Release the latch, and disassemble cover hopping 3 after unplugging the connector of the
2nd tray.
(7) Detach the Fan (Fuser). (See Subsection 4.2.15.)
(8) Remove gear 4 by releasing the two latches, and remove gear 5 by releasing the latch. Then,
remove shaft 7 by releasing the latch of gear 6.
(9) Remove two screws (silver) 8, and disassemble side plate R Assy 9.
(10) Remove ten screws (silver) 0 and plate outer A, and detach four gears idle ID B, gear C,
three color D, gear 6, E, F, G, H, and spring I of the solenoid.
(11) Release the two latches, and remove guide Assy side R J by sliding it upward.
(12) Remove screw (silver) K, remove plate lockout ID L and four screws M, and detach plate
inner N.
(13) Remove two screws (silver) 0, unplug the connector, and disassemble lift-up motor P.
(14) Remove screw (silver) Q, and detach solenoid R.
(15)Disassemble hopping motor (See Subsection 4.2.12) and two screws (black) T, and detach
gear Assy HPU.
(16) Remove spring V, free the claw, and remove bush W, hopping roller shaft X and frame hopping
Y.
(17) Disassemble paper-end sensor Z and paper-end lever [.
