Remove the following screws that secure the top cover to the computer:
(1) Three Torx T8M2.5×4.5 screws in the optical drive bay
(2) Four Torx T8M2.5×4.5 screws in the battery bay
(3) Two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws in the hard drive bay

Turn the computer right side up with the front toward you.
6.
Open the computer.
7.
Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the power button board cable is attached, and then disconnect
the power button board cable from the system board.
8.
Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the function button board cable is attached, and then disconnect
the function button board cable from the system board.
