Managing Calls

The 6869i has several features that make it easier to manage calls, and to keep track of your caller history, as well as your
business and personal contacts.
These features include:

Directory

Callers List
DND and Call Forward
Directory
The Directory is your personal phone book, conveniently stored within your phone. The 6869i IP phone supports
enhanced Directory functionality allowing for interoperability with multiple directory sources (i.e. Local Directory, Cor-
porate and Personal CSV directories, LDAP, Microsoft Exchange, BroadSoft XSI Enterprise Directory, and BroadSoft XSI
Personal Contacts).
On the 6869i, you access the Directory by pressing the softkey configured for Directory functionality (see
Key"
on page 94).
Notes:
• As stated above, the 6869i IP phone supports enhanced Directory functionality. Your Local Directory will always be
available, while the availability of all other Directory sources is dependant on what has been configured by your
Administrator.
