Preparing for installation
Application
The compact heat pumps Vitocal 242-S,
type AWT-AC 241.A04 to A13, can be
used for the following purposes:
■ Central heating and cooling via a heat-
ing system.
■ DHW heating with the integral DHW
cylinder; also through the utilisation of
solar energy.

Any other use is considered inappropri-
ate.
Note
Vitocal 242-S is intended exclusively for
domestic use, i.e. even people who have
not had any instruction are able to oper-
ate the appliance safely.
