Installation sequence
Connecting refrigerant lines

Please note
Contamination (e.g. metal
swarf) or moisture must not
enter the copper pipes.
Therefore, hold the pipe open-
ings downwards or tempora-
rily plug them.
Undo the nuts from connections C
and D on the refrigerant lines (liquid
line and hot gas line).
Type AWT-AC 241.A04:
Slide the nuts onto the refrigerant
lines prepared on site.
Type AWT-AC 241.A07, A10 and
A13:
Replace nuts with the supplied union
nuts (internal unit) (⅝ UNF for liquid
line, ⅞ UNF for hot gas line).
Tighten nuts with the following torques:

Connection to the internal unit
Note
We recommend using the pipe bends
supplied for connecting the refrigerant
lines. Depending on the installation con-
ditions, it may also be possible to con-
nect the refrigerant lines directly without
bends.
