OPERATION
Remove the 4 bolts which retain the cover to the
drive motor housing to gain access to the brake
assembly on the back of the drive motor.
Use a small screwdriver or blade to pry the rubber
dust cover from the brake release access hole at
the rear of the drive motor brake assembly.
Retain the plug for reinstallation following
completion of the towing procedures.
Removal of the rubber dust plug will provide
access to the Manual Brake Release System.
Check the threads for damage and remove any
debris from the hole. Apply a light coating of
grease to the threads.
