This potentiometer is used to adjust the sensing level for the gap sensor. • DSW Dip switch These switches are to set the printer to different modes when servicing. This is only used by Sato certified servicing personnel. • PITCH potentiometer This potentiometer adjusts the beginning print position in correspond to the adjustment value displayed in the OFFSET VOLUME menu (User Mode).

Section 3: Operation and Configuration 3.3 ONLINE AND OFFLINE MODES The general and basic operation of the DR308e is via the Normal mode, which consists of the ONLINE and OFFLINE modes. 3.3.1 Online Mode Pressing the LINE button causes the printer to go ONLINE or OFFLINE alternately.
