Select your monitor brand from the list provided.
Select your monitor model from the list provided.
Changing Refresh Rates gives you the option of
setting a higher quality display. The higher the
refresh rate, the better the quality (and the slower
performance) will be. Consult the manual that
came with your monitor to determine the proper
settings for these fields.
640 x 480
Sets the refresh rates for monitors with
640 x 480 resolution (60 Hz, 72 Hz, or 75 Hz).
800 x 600
Sets the refresh rates for monitors with
800 x 600 resolution (56 Hz, 60 Hz, 72 Hz, 75 Hz, or
None).
1024 x 768
Sets the refresh rates for monitors with
1024 x 768 resolution (87 Hz Int., 60 Hz, 70 Hz, 72 Hz, 75
Hz, None).
1280 x 1024
Sets the refresh rates for monitors with 1280 x 1024
resolution.
Lets you choose the number of colors that are
available to Windows after the installation is
complete. Choices are 256, 65536, and 16 million
colors.
Lets you choose the resolution that WinMode uses
to run Windows after the installation is complete.
Choices are 640 x 480, 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, or 1280
x 1024.
Lets you set the amount of system memory
available for font caching. You can choose
between 0 KB and 1000 KB.
Lets you set the operating system under which
Windows will run (DOS-Windows or OS/2 Windows).
Lets you select the size of fonts displayed in
Windows dialog boxes and menus. You can choose
between large and small fonts.
