Safety Inspection Checklist

Initial adjustments should be made to suit personal body structure/user capability and preference.
Thereafter follow these maintenance procedures:
General
Wheelchair rolls straight (no excessive drag
or pull to one side).
Motor brushes & motor gearbox coupling
Clothing guards
Ensure all fasteners are secure.
Arms
Secure but easy to release; adjustment
handwheels engage properly.
Adjustable height arms operate and lock
securely.
Armrests
Inspect for rips in upholstery.
Arm rest pad sits flush against arm tube.
Seat and back upholstery
Inspect for rips or sagging.
