About This Book

This book provides maintenance information that is specific to the Eserver pSeries 670, as well as
adapters, and attached devices that do not have their own service information. It also contains
Maintenance Analysis Procedures (MAPs) that are not common to other systems.
MAPs that are common to all systems are contained in the RS/6000 and Eserver pSeries Diagnostic
Information for Multiple Bus Systems.
This book is used by the service representative to repair system failures. This book assumes that the
service representative has had training on the system.
