REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS
OIL PAN REMOVAL
(1) Knock in the special tool deeply between the oil pan and the
cylinder block.
(2) Hitting the side of the special tool, slide the special tool
along the oil pan to remove the oil pan.
OUTER ROTOR / INNER ROTOR REMOVAL
(1) Make alignment dots on the outer and inner rotors for
reference in reassembly.
INSPECTION
OIL PUMP
(1) Check the tip clearance.
Standard value: '0.03 - 0.08 mm LOO12 - .0031
(2) Check the side clearance.
Standard value: 0.04 - 0.10 mm LOO16 - .0039 in.)
(3) Check the body clearance.
Standard value: 0.10 - 0.18 mm LOO39 - .0071 in.)
Limit: 0.35 mm I.0138 in.)
