OIL PUMP SPROCKET INSTALLATION
(1) Insert a Phillips screwdriver [shank diameter 8 mm (31 in.)]
through the plug hole on the left side of the cylinder block to
block the left silent shaft.
(2) Install the oil pump sprocket.
(3) Apply an appropriate amount of engine oil to the bearing
surface of the nut.
(4) Tighten the nut to the specified torque.
TENSIONER INSTALLATION
(1) Hook the tensioner spring ends to the water pump body
projection and tensioner bracket.
(2) Move the tensioner fully toward the water pump and
tighten the bolt and tensioner spacer.
TIMING BELT INSTALLATION
(1) Align the timing marks on camshaft sprocket and crank-
shaft sprocket with their mating marks.
(2) Align the timing mark on the oil pump sprocket with its
mating mark.
