VALVE GUIDE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
(1) Refer to Page 11 C-77, noting that there are differences in
the diameter of the valve guide hole as well as in the
guide's installed height.
Valve Guide Hole Diameter
0.05 mm (.002 in.) O.S.
0.25 mm (.OIO in.) O.S.
0.50 mm (.002 in.) O.S.
INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS
VALVE STEM SEAL INSTALLATION
(1) Install the valve spring seat.
(2) Using the special tool, install a new stem seal to the valve
guide.
Caution
Do not reuse the valve stem seal.
VALVE SPRING INSTALLATION
(1) Install the valve spring so that its end with identification
color is positioned on the rocker arm end.
