Firmly apply the handbrake.

Open the stowage compartment in front centre console

Grab hold of the cover
in the areas of the arrows and carefully raise it in the

direction of the arrow
forwards and then backwards

Use a finger to press the yellow plastic part in the direction of the arrow

At the same time, press the locking button in the selector lever and move the
selector lever to position N.
If the selector lever is moved again to position P, it is once again blocked.

Closing the bonnet.

Switch the ignition off and on again.
›
Within 10 seconds, press the lever in position
seconds
The windscreen wiper arms move into the service position.
Removing the wiper blade

Raise the windscreen wiper arm away from the windscreen

Tilt the wiper blade as far as it can go in the direction of the windscreen wiper
arm - arrow

Hold the upper part of the windscreen wiper arm and unlock the securing mech-
anism

Remove the wiper blade in the direction of the arrow

Push the windscreen wiper blade until the stop and it locks in place.

Check that the wiper blade is correctly attached.
