Heating and Air Conditioning
Heater Valve Cable Adjustment
1 . F r o m u n d e r t h e h o o d , o p e n t h e c a b l e c l a m p { A ) ,
then disconnect the heater valve cable (B) from the
heater valve arm {C).
t From under the dash, disconnect the heater valve
c a b l e h o u s i n g f r o m t h e c a b l e c l a m p ( A ) , a n d
disconnect the heater valve cable (B) from the air
m i x c o n t r o l l i n k a g e { C ) .

Set the temperature control dial on Max Cool with
the ignition switch ON (ll).
Attach the heater valve cable (B) to the air mix
control linkage (C) as shown above, then snap the
h e a t e r v a l v e c a b l e h o u s i n g i n t o t h e c a b l e c l a m p ( A ) .

5, From under the hood, turn the heater valve arm {C)
to the fully closed position as shown, and hold it.
Attach the heater valve cable (B) to the heater valve
a r m , a n d g e n t l y p u l l o n t h e h e a t e r v a l v e c a b l e
housing to take up any slack, then install the heater
v a l v e c a b l e h o u s i n g i n t o t h e c a b l e c l a m p ( A ) .
