SERVICE ON DRAIN TUBE

STYROFOAM DRIP TRAY
Top Mount Models Only
1. Disconnect t he unit f r om pow er
source.
2. Remove the freezer and fresh food
compar tment door s.
3. R em ove t he divider channel from
c a b i n e t .
4. Remove the freezer chest bottom by
p u l l i n g u p a n d o u t .
5. Remove the styrofoam treezer coil
cover . lt is import ant t hat this part be
r eplaced in the sam e posit ion.
6 . R e m o v e t h e a i r t u n n e l .
7. Disconnect t he wir e leads fr om the fan
motor , def rost heater, ter minati on
t herm ost at, and plug- in type connec tor
a t t h e w i r i n g h a r n e s s .
Form a piece of wir e into the shape of
t he let ter "S" and fit it into t he vertic al
a i r t u n n e l d r i v e p i n r i v e t h o l e i n t h e
r ear liner w all. Lift the evaporator and
hook to the S- shaped piece of w ir e.
This w ill hold t he evaporat or out of the
w a y w h i l e r e m o v i n g a n d r e p l a c i n g t h e
drip tr ay.
P ull the styr ofoam assembly out of the
cabinet and place on f lat w or k s urfac e.
