directing t he hose out doors. Leav e the
v a l v e o p e n .
1 0. C lean the dischar ge t ubing for a
distance of about 3 inches at the points
you int end to cut or unsolder. Cut or
u n s o l d e r t h e d i s c h a r g e l i n e .
1 1. Remove the screw s f rom the top of the
condenser. and f rom t he back of the
condenser.
1 2. Remove the t ubing clamps fr om t he top
and bottom of the fan shroud.
1 3. R emove the condenser from t he fan
s h r o u d .
S et t he replacem ent condens er
assembly in place and secure it w i th
t he scr ews rem oved in Step 11.
Silver solder t he dischar ge line to its
r espect ive condenser line.
lnstall the new dr ier as instruc ted
u n d e r " R e p l a c i n g D r i e r " .
R e a s s e m b l e t h e h i g h s i d e u n i t i n t h e
machine compart ment in t he r ever s e
or der of t he r emoval procedure.
Evacuat e, leak test, and recharge the
syst em
as
instr ucted
under
" E v a c u a t i n g a n d R e c h a r g i n g " .
Reinst all the gr ound w ir es w here
r em oved.
R einstall t he machine compartment
cover exactly as it was before removal
so t hat proper air f low is maint ained
acr oss the compr essor and defr os t
p a n .
Test run the r efr igerat or to m ake s ure
it is operating properly.
