o f sm all part icles f rom entering the water
va lve.
Find a 3/8" lo 1" vertical COLD water
pipe near the refrigerator. Water
pressure must be between 20 and 1ZO
p.s.i. Vert ical pipe is prefer able, but a
ho rizont al pipe w ill wor k. lf a
h or izont al pipe is used, install the
saddle valve on the top or ,t he side of
the pipe, not on t he bottom .
Tu rn OFF t he m ain wat er supply and
d rain the selected pipe.
Follow the installation inst ruct ions t hat
a r e supplied with t he saddle valve for
p roper and saf e inst allat ion.
Route the copper tubing thr ough the
floor , w all or sink cabinet t o t he saddl e
valve locat ion. Form t he excess t ubing
in to a
lar ge loop. This allow s
movement of the r efr igerat or without
d isconnect ing the
t ubing. Ot her
