ELECTRIC STARTER
Apply grease to the oil seal lip and needle bearing in
the front cover.
Install the washer by aligning its tabs to the front
cover grooves.
Ins/till the shims
Install the shims and insulated washer onto the
properly8S nOled
armature shah.
dvrmQ remoV8l.
Install a new seal ring onto the motor case.

Install the front cover being ca reful not to damage
the oi l seal l ip.
Tighten the motor case bolts to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 3.4 N'm 10.3 kgf·m, 2.5 Ibf.ft)
Coat a new O' ring with oil and install it into the
starter motor groove,
