Changing bulbs

Connector for low-beam headlamps

Remove corresponding connector ;, =

or ? from the bulb.
Detach the locking spring and remove the
X
bulb.
Insert the new bulb in such a way that its
X
base fits into the recess of the bulb holder.
Attach the locking spring and plug the con-
X
nector onto the bulb.
Place housing cover : into the opening
X
and turn in the opposite direction of the
arrow.
Close the hood.
X
Cornering light function/daytime run-
ning lamps
Switch off the lighting system.
X
Open the hood (
X
Turn housing cover : counter-clockwise
X
and remove it.
page 250).
Y
Pull out the bulb holder together with
X
bulb ;.
Pull the bulb out of the bulb holder.
X
Press a new bulb into the bulb holder.
X
Insert the bulb holder into the lamp.
X
Position housing cover : and turn it clock-
X
wise as far as it will go.
Close the hood.
X
Turn signal lamps
Switch off the lighting system.
X
Open the hood ( page 250).
X
Y
Turn bulb holder : counter-clockwise and
X
remove it.
Applying light pressure to the bulb, turn it
X
counter-clockwise and remove it from bulb
holder :.
Press the new bulb into bulb holder : and
X
screw it in clockwise.
Insert bulb holder : into the lamp and turn
X
it clockwise to tighten.
Close the hood.
