This typeface represents information as it appears on the
screen.
The word "command" means that you must enter the
command exactly as shown and then press Return or Enter.
Commands appear in bold. Example:
To configure IP address 192.168.1.116 and subnet mask
255.255.0.0 for network interface eth0, use the following
command:
ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.116 netmask 255.255.0.0.
Italics are used to:
Emphasize a point.
Denote a new term at the place where it is defined in the
text.
