Telephone Answering Device (TAD)
Remote polling
With the remote polling facility, you are
able to play back messages stored on
your telephone answering device from any
telephone. In addition, the remote polling
facility provides further options for
accessing the telephone answering
device.

page 42
for an overview of
the TAD functions with the corresponding
remote polling codes.
Access code:
The access code protects your telephone
answering device against unauthorised
access. The polling facility is only
available after the correct code has been
entered. If the wrong code is entered on
three occasions, the connection is
cleared down.
Before you use the remote polling facility
for the first time, you must program an
appropriate code in your telephone
answering device.

The connection for remote polling is automatically cleared down after approx. 45 seconds. This situation is announced immediately
beforehand by means of an acoustic signal (beeeep, beep). During this period, press the key sequence #8 on your remote polling
transmitter in order to maintain the remote polling facility.
