Accessing Voicemail
Your incoming calls can be forwarded to your voice mail. Callers will be prompted to leave a
message for you. This feature requires you to enter a voice mail number which is provided by
your service provider. To set your voice mail number, select Menu (left selection key) >
Messaging > Voice mail. Enter the number provided by your service provider. Select Save
(menu key). This number should be used when you want to listen to your stored voice mail
messages.
When you need to listen to your incoming voice mail messages, select Menu (left selection key)
> Messaging > Voice mail > Listen to voice msgs.. You are connected to your mailbox where
you can hear the stored voice mail messages.
You can also select Menu (left selection key) > Messaging > Voice mail > Voice mailbox no.
to edit the voice mail name and number.
Note: For quick access to voice mail, press and hold 1.
Emergency Alerts
Emergency alerts store and display emergency messages received from Federal US agencies.
Emergency Alerts Inbox
Follow the instructions below to view and delete received emergency alerts.
► Select Menu (left selection key) > Messaging > Emergency Alerts > Inbox.
Emergency Alert Settings
You can enable or disable reception of extreme, severe, amber and test alert messages. You
can also set the font size for the emergency alert messages through the display settings.
Follow the instructions below to configure receive settings:
► Select Menu (left selection key) > Messaging > Emergency Alerts > Settings >
Receive Setting.
Follow the instructions below to configure display settings:
► Select Menu (left selection key) > Messaging > Emergency Alerts > Settings >
Display Setting.
Text Input Mode
When you enter text for messages and notes, the input mode is displayed at the top of the
screen.
To modify the text input mode, navigate to the Message field and press and release the # key to
toggle between the different text input modes (Abc/123).
