Writing Messages

You can create and save or send text messages and multimedia (MMS) messages.

Text Messages

Follow the instructions below to send text messages to selected recipients.
1. Select Menu (left selection key) > Messaging > Text message > Write message.
2. Select Add (menu key) and select the recipients of the message.
3. Go to Message field and enter the message. The text input mode is displayed in the
status bar. Press and hold # to select the appropriate text input mode.
4. Enter the message and select Options (left selection key). The following options are
displayed:

Send
Clear field
Insert contact
Insert number
Insert symbol
Writing language
Messaging
Set slide display timings.
Enable or disable reception of multimedia messages in
roaming/home network.
Select the option to manually accept, download or reject the
multimedia message.
Enable or disable download of multimedia advertisements.
Set the server details received from the service provider to
send/receive multimedia messages.
Function
Send the message.
Clear the contents in the message pane.
Select and add a contact from the contacts list to the message.
Select and add a number from the contacts list to the message.
Select the required symbol to include in the message.
Select the input languages.
