The following options are displayed:
 Headset button starts voice calls. [Talk Key] – initiates voice calls.
 Headset button starts DC calls. [DC key] – initiates Direct Connect calls.

One Touch Direct Connect Setting

One touch Direct Connect settings enable you to view and modify the home screen that is
displayed when you press the DC button on the left hand side of the phone.
Follow the instructions below to view and modify One Touch Direct Connect Settings.

Select Menu (left selection key) > Settings > DC Settings > One touch DC
The following options are displayed.
 Launch DC Contacts List – displays DC contacts list.
 Launch DC Call Log List – displays DC call log list.
 DC Selected contact – calls the selected DC contact.
 DC Most Recent Numbers – calls the most recently called Direct Connect number.

Your Direct Connect Number

Sprint provides two options for the Direct Connect number. The options are:
● Separate numbers (DC only) – your Direct Connect number is a unique number (not
your wireless number). It is made up of three sets of digits separated by asterisks (for
example, 444*5555*111).
● A single number (Mobile+DC) – your Direct Connect number is the same as your
wireless number (for example, 555-555-1234).

Dial Direct Connect Numbers

You can make a Direct Connect call using one of the ways below.

If the person you are calling has a separate number for Direct Connect, make sure you
dial any asterisks (*) in the number. If you are saving the number in your Contacts, save
it in the DC only field.
●
If the person you are calling has a single number for both voice calls and for Direct
Connect, use that ten-digit phone number to make Direct Connect calls. You do not
need to add any asterisks (*) to the number. If you are saving this number in your
Contacts, save it in the Mobile+DC field.
