Connecting Power (if required)

If the host does not provide power to the digital scanner, connect an external power supply:
Connect the interface cable to the base of the digital scanner, as described in

Mounting the Digital Scanner

An optional wall mount bracket is available for mounting the scanner to a wall or other vertical surface. To mount
the Symbol DS9808:
Place the bracket in its desired location on the wall, and insert three #6 screws through each screw hole in the
