Principle II. The four basic selections you can
access with your Polar Protrainer NV HRM are:

- This selection lets you view and/or
set the correct time of day, the date and an

to light the background light. Press
button a little while longer to cycle

between time and date displays.
- This selection allows you to activate
MEASURE
the heart rate measurement, recording and
stopwatch functions. (No programming can be
done within this selection).
- Use this selection to review the data
RECALL
recorded during your workouts i.e. your target
heart rate zone performance feedback, the
average heart rate of the total exercise period,
the time spent below, within and above your
target heart rate zone, the recorded split/lap
times together with the corresponding heart
rates and the recovery heart rate. (No
programming can be done within this select-
ion).
- You can use this selection to set your

personal target heart rate zone, the interval
timers and the recovery heart rate calculation
period. From the sport watch functions you can
choose simultaneously on display either the
time of day and the lap times OR the cumu-
lative time of the exercise and the lap times.

you want, cycle through the four available
