Removing/Installing Flipback Armrests
Removing/Installing Flip Back Armrest
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 7.2.
Removing Flip Back Armrest
1. Unlock existing armrest assembly by flipping the arm assembly release levers located
on the side rail to the up (horizontal) as shown in Detail ʺAʺ.
2. Pull up on the existing armrest to remove from the arm socket.
3. Repeat STEPS 1‐2 for opposite side of wheelchair, if necessary.
4. Install the new/existing armrest on to the wheelchair. Refer to in this procedure of the
manual.
Installing Flip Back Armrest
1. If necessary, unlock new/existing armrest assembly by flipping the arm assembly release
levers located on the side rail to the up (horizontal) position (Detail ʺAʺ).
2. Install new/existing armrest assembly into the arm sockets.
3. Lock the armrest assembly by flipping the arm assembly release levers located on the
side rail to the down (vertical) position (Detail ʺAʺ).
4. Repeat STEPS 1‐3 for opposite side, if necessary.
