Faulty print
Faulty printing occurs at
specific dots.
Sometimes dots are
missing.
Black points or dots are
printed.

Troubleshooting for Printer
Check Point
Repeat cleaning and test printing alternately
several times.
Check whether head FFC is damaged.
Repeat cleaning and nozzle checking alternately
several times.
Check capping porous pad with the naked eye.
Repeat cleaning and nozzle checking alternately
several times.
Check FFC by tester.
Check whether Board and Carriage FFC are
connected.
Execute cleaning several times, and Check
nozzle.
Set new ink cartridge and check nozzle.
Check whether Board and Carriage FFC are
connected.
Check connection with head FFC.
Revision A
Remedy
Clean with a swab fixed to a stick.
Replace the head FFC with a new one.
If the condition is not improved even
after cleaning, replace the head.
Replace the capping porous pad, if its
shape is deformed or it is damaged.
Clean with a swab fixed to a stick.
Replace the head FFC.
Connect the FFC correctly.
If the condition is not improved even
after cleaning, replace the head.
Replace the ink cartridge.
Connect the FFC correctly.
If connection with the FFC is not faulty,
replace the head.
