12. In the Basic Settings tab in Global Thresholds (see
Figure 7-20 on page 7-20), increase %Max Peak Area
to a setting between 0.1 and 1% until the peaks of
interest are detected and noise is screened out.
Figure 7-23 shows the trace after deisotoping. Note
that many fewer peaks are detected. By further
fine-tuning %Max Peak Area, you can screen out
additional noise peaks.
