Threading upper and bobbin thread

Embroidery needle
Embroidery needles (130/705 H-SUK) provide a larger eye and are slightly
rounded. This avoids thread abrasion when using Rayon- and cotton
embroidery thread.
̶ use SUK-needles
̶ depending on the embroidery thread use a size No. 70-SUK to No. 90-SUK
needle
̶ use a new needle
Preparation
⦁ attach embroidery foot No. 26 to the embroidery computer
⦁
raise the presser foot
⦁ raise the needle
Lowering the feed dog
⦁ press «Feed dog»-button 1

the feed dog is lowered

The straight-/CutWork stitch plate has a small needle hole in the needle
insertion area. The small needle hole supports the fabric. This optimizes the
stitching results.
⦁ remove the standard stitch plate (see page 25)
⦁
replace it with the straight-/CutWork stitch plate
Threading upper thread
⦁ place foam pad
⦁
attach thread spool
⦁ when using Rayon or slippery embroidery threads, slip the net over the
upper thread spool

this will feed the needle thread more evenly
Spool pin
When working with metallic or any other special threads always use
the vertical spool pin and the guide eyelet for metallic and silk thread
(optional accessory).
Threading bobbin thread
⦁ thread the lower thread into the pigtail tension guide of the bobbin case
Insert the embroidery bobbin case and close the bobbin cover
afterwards to activate the lower thread indicator (must be activated
in the Setup-Program).
