ber is not registered)
Setting
Line 1: Tx & Rx, PSTN
Line 2: Tx & Rx, PBX
PSTN dialing in this situation:

Enter the remote fax number using a one-touch key, Address
Book Entry or by using the numeric keys.

Press [Start] (no needed for one-touch keys or Address Book
Entry).
You can only use Line 1 when your machine is in this mode. Your
machine will not attempt to communicate over an outside line
(PSTN) using Line 2.
PBX dialing in this situation:

Enter the remote fax number using a one-touch key, Address
Book Entry or by using the numeric keys. The character "/X"
must be placed after the number in order to dial within a PBX.
(See page 2-1.)
Remember: The "/X" character must be entered when you set-
up a one-touch key or Address Book Entry that will be used on
an inside line (PBX). This character cannot be inserted after you
press the one-touch key or Address Book Entry.

You can only use Line 2 when your machine is in this mode. Your
machine will not attempt to communicate over an inside line (PBX)
using Line 1.
If your machine is configured to this setting, the machine will have
one exclusive outside line and one exclusive inside line. If you are
receiving a document over Line 1 (outside line), you will not be able
