Troubleshooting chart

1. Fuel
Check the fuel level in
the fuel tank.
2. Compression
Operate the electric starter.
3. Ignition

Remove the spark plug
and check the electrodes.
4. Battery
Operate the electric starter.
There is enough fuel.
There is no fuel.
There is compression.
There is no compression.
Wipe off with a dry cloth and correct the
Wet
spark plug gap, or replace the spark plug.
Have a Yamaha dealer check the ATV.
Dry
The engine turns over
The battery is good.

The engine turns over Check the battery lead connections,
slowly. and charge the battery if necessary.
