Connecting the USB diskette drive

To connect the drive, plug the diskette drive connector into a USB port.
Refer to the following figure.
Make sure the connector is right side up and properly aligned with the
socket. Do not try to force the connection, doing so can damage the
connecting pins.
Connecting the USB diskette drive to the computer
If you connect the diskette drive after turning on the computer, it will take
about 10 seconds for the computer to recognise the drive. Do not
disconnect and reconnect before 10 seconds has elapsed.
If you are using Windows 98 and have connected USB Diskette drive and
storage device(s) of PC-card type before turning on your computer, you
may find two diskette drives after turning on (ex. A: and F:). And
disconnecting USB FDD will result that that the drive will not be removed
correctly from Windows Explorer.
If you want to use storage device(s) of PC-Card type and USB FDD
simultaneously, please connect them after turning-on your computer.
