Insert the plug at the other end of the telephone
cord into the telephone line socket.
If the network to which the machine is connected has
more than one socket connected in series, you
must connect the machine to the primary socket*.

Plug the cord of the emergency telephone or the
answering machine into the extension socket on
the main telephone cord plug.

If the network to which the machine is connected has
more than one socket connected in series, you
must use an approved telephone model.
In some countries, telephones, answering machines or
other equipment can be connected via the TEL socket
on the base of the machine. For further information,
refer to the telephone/fax operation standards for your
country.
