! Creating a group name

Insert a group-recorded
MiniDisc.

Whilst in the stop mode, choose the group to be
named (page 22).

Press the MENU button.
The unit enters the menu select mode.

Select "NAME" by pressing
the or button and
press the MENU button.

When "GROUP NAME" ap-
pears, press the MENU but-
ton.
The unit will enter the character
input mode.

Enter the group name (page 43, steps 6 - 7).

After entering all characters, hold down the
MENU button for 2 seconds or more.
The group name will be created.
! Creating a track name

Whilst in the stop mode or
pause mode, select the track
by pressing the or but-
ton.

Press the MENU button.
The unit enters the menu select mode.

Select "NAME" by pressing
the or button and
press the MENU button.

When "TRACK NAME" ap-
pears, press the MENU but-
ton.
The unit will enter the character
input mode.

Enter the track name (page 43, steps 6 - 7).

After entering all characters, hold down the
MENU button for 2 seconds or more.
The track name will be created.
