Recording
Terminating playback
As soon as the end of the recording has been reached, the playback stops automatically.
You can also, however, terminate playback manually at any time:
S
Terminate playback to switch back to live mode.
The Last viewed bookmark is set in the recording at the last viewed
position.
Continuing the playback (Last viewed)
U
Select and start the playback you would like to continue.
Open the Trickmode bar.
r
Select the Last viewed bookmark to continue the playback from the last
viewed position.

Using Trickmode

Trickmode offers you convenient operating and editing functions for playing back ongo-
ing and stored recordings:
u
Mark individual scenes using a bookmark to be able to skip forward or back conven-
iently at any time in the playback to these positions.
u
Incorporate loops into a recording in order to repeat your preferred film sequences
automatically during the playback.
u
Define jumps in order to simply skip entire sections of a recording, for example
advertising breaks.
All of these actions can be edited in the Trickmode bar, which is shown at the bottom
of the screen when Trickmode is activated.
Requirements
You can only call up Trickmode if one of the following playback types is started:
u
Delayed viewing (timeshift playback).
u
You are watching a programme, which is being recorded at the same time on the
hard disk of your set-top box (playback of an ongoing recording).
u
You are watching a film, which is stored in the Films menu (playback of a stored
recording).
Showing/Hiding the Trickmode Bar
U
Activate Trickmode during the current playback.
The Trickmode bar is displayed. The information displayed in the Trick-
mode bar depends on the playback type selected and the number of
actions and bookmarks already set.
Press this button again to exit Trickmode.
