Selecting teletext pages
The teletext function of your set-top box offers the following options for navigating
through the teletext offering:

Enter a three-digit number in order to call up a teletext page directly. If
available, the associated page is displayed after a short search.

Switch to the next or previous teletext page.
Timeshift – Delayed Viewing
You determine yourself what you would and would not like to see.
The timeshift function offers the possibility of delayed viewing. You can pause the live
programme as required and continue it sometime later. The current programme is
recorded in the background while you are watching the timeshift recording.
Examples of using timeshift:

You are interrupted while watching television and can still see the film without any
gaps.
u
Because you are late, your partner switches on the news at eight o'clock. You can
watch the news together at ten minutes past eight.
u
You watch a good scene again and still do not miss even a second of the programme.
You also have the following possibilities in timeshift mode:

You see the goal just scored in the football match again in slow motion.
u
You skip individual scenes of a programme, for example advertising.
u
You identify interesting scenes with bookmarks in order to be able to locate these
scenes again easily.
Activating and Operating Timeshift
Requirements
The timeshift function can only be executed if there is sufficient storage capacity avail-
able on the integrated hard disk. You can check the current utilisation of the hard disk
in the Settings > Hard Disk > HDD Information menu (see "HDD information" on
page 77).
