13 Using the timer
• You can check the timer settings in
standby by pressing TIMER/CLOCK ADJ.

Turning the record timer on/off

1 Press TIMER/CLOCK ADJ.
2 Use the
buttons to select REC.
On the front panel use
3 Press ENTER.
4 Use the
buttons to select ON or OFF.
On the front panel use
• You must have the timer set (see previous
page) to select ON. The record timer
switches on and off according to your
previous settings.

Child Lock

This system has a child lock feature that
makes the front panel buttons and controls
inoperative. This is useful when you have set
the timer and don't want the recorder
accidently turned on before the timer
recording has started.
1 Switch the system into standby then
press ENTER.
2 Use the
buttons to select the KEY LOCK display.
