Trouble shooting

Problem
Phone will not
switch on
Charging LED not
lit red and no
flashing battery

Calls cannot be

Possible cause and solution
Check that the battery is fully charged and correctly
connected to the phone.
There may be no mains supply. Check mains supply.
The AC/DC charger may be faulty. Return to your dealer and
try substitution with another Mitsubishi adaptor. If faulty
contact your dealer.
Cell broadcast is permanently on, using more battery power.
Phone is in a poor signal area and therefore always on full
power.
Incorrect charging and discharging. Always charge and
discharge your battery fully.
The battery is wearing out. Replace the battery
Check that you have at least one signal strength bar. Try in a
stronger signal strength area.
If the name of a network is not displayed, check your SIM is
all right, check registration with your network/service
provider.
Call barring option is turned on. Turn it off (see page 34).
Call cost limit is reached (see page 20).
Fixed Dialled Number or Call Barring features are turned on.
Check features and turn them off (see pages 10 and 34).
