Selecting the reception mode

Press [Menu], [9], and then press
[Enter] three times.
The machine shows your current
fax reception mode:

Press [,] or [+] to select your desired reception mode.
Your machine has five different reception modes:
H Tel Ready (see "Manual receive mode" below)
H Fax Ready (see "Automatic receive mode" below)
H Fax/Tel Ready (see page 9-2)
H Tel/Fax Ready (see page 9-3)
H
Ans/Fax Ready (see page 9-3)

Press [Enter] to save the setting.

Press [Reset] to exit.
Note
If you assigned "Auto Rx" to the soft key ("11 Special features [CD]"),
you can toggle Manual reception (Tel Ready) and Automatic reception
(you have set) by pressing that key.
