Other methods of use
OTHERS SETTINGS
STARTUP MODE, LANGUAGE, VARIOUS SETTINGS and etc. can be set.
Refer page 10 regarding how to set LANGUAGE.
Various settings such as "AUTO QUALITY ADJUSTMENT" and "SLIDE SHOW" can be made. Make these settings
before printing.
Startup mode

Press the [CUSTOM] button at the top of the
printer.
Use c to select the "OTHERS" tab.

Use ab to select "STARTUP MODE", and press
the [SET] button.

The "STARTUP MODE" window is displayed.
Return to the "OTHERS" window by using ab to
select and pressing the [SET] button.
FULL:
At power startup and when the [BACK] button was
pressed for 3 seconds or longer, the printer enters
the FULL 4" × 6" print mode.
ID PRINT:
At power startup and when the [BACK] button was
pressed for 3 seconds or longer, the printer enters
the ID PRINT (topmost row "SIZE&LAYOUT") mode.
Note
• The startup window selection settings are saved even when
the printer power is turned off.

AUTO QUALITY ADJUSTMENT:
Automatically performs optimum compensation
according to the photographed scene of each
picture when printing (Page 41).
IMAGE DISPLAY ORDER:
Sets the order in which the picture data is displayed
when a memory card was loaded into the printer
(Page 42).
SLIDE SHOW:
Setting for "Slide Show" that automatically
reproduces the picture data on the memory card
(Page 42).
LCD MONITOR BRIGHTNESS:
Adjusts the brightness of the LCD monitor (Page 43).
INITIALIZE SETTINGS:
Returns the various setting to the factory shipping
state (Page 43).

Auto quality adjustment
Automatically performs optimum compensation according to the photographed scene of each picture
while printing.
For instance, with backlighted scenes, the subject easily appears dark. This function automatically
compensates for this so that the subject is printed beautifully.

Use ab to select the desired setting.
YES: Picture quality is automatically adjusted.
NO: Picture quality is not automatically adjusted.

At the end of setting, press the [SET] button.
The "VARIOUS SETTINGS" window is displayed.
