Adding and registering handsets
Register a handset to your telephone base for
AT&T models TL96273/TL96323/TL96373/TL96423/TL96473
1. Before �ou be�in re�istration, make sure the
handset is out of the telephone base or �har�er
and shows To register, see user manual.
2. Put the handset �ou wish to re�ister on the
telephone base �radle, not the �har�er.
3. Both the handset and the telephone
base show Registering...Please wait. It
takes about 90 se�onds to �omplete the
re�istration pro�ess. Both the telephone
base and �ordless handset displa�
HANDSET X Registered (X represents the
re�istered handset number), and beep
when re�istration �ompletes.
If re�istration fails, the s�stem will automati�all�
tr� to re�ister a�ain. If re�istration fails after
the third tr�, the handset displa�s Registration
failed, then To register, see user manual. This
ma� take up to 5 minutes to o��ur. Please start
a�ain from Step 1 above.
NOTE: You �annot re�ister a handset if an� other
s�stem handset is in use.
