Troubleshooting
I get noise, static, or weak signals even when I'm near the
telephone base.

If �ou subs�ribe to hi�h-speed Internet servi�e (DSL - di�ital
subs�riber line) throu�h �our telephone line, �ou must
install a DSL filter between the telephone line �ord and the
telephone wall ja�k. The filter prevents noise and �aller ID
problems as a result of DSL interferen�e. Please �onta�t �our
DSL servi�e provider for more information about DSL filters.

You ma� be able to improve the performan�e of �our �ordless
phone b� installin� �our telephone base as far as possible
from an� other existin� �ordless telephone s�stem that ma�
alread� be installed.

Other ele�troni� produ�ts su�h as HAM radios and other DECT
phones �an �ause interferen�e with �our �ordless phone. Tr�
installin� �our phone as far awa� as possible from these t�pes
of ele�troni� devi�es.

Do not install this phone near a mi�rowave oven or on
the same ele�tri�al outlet. You ma� experien�e de�reased
performan�e while the mi�rowave oven is operatin�.

If �ou plu� �our phone in with a modem or a sur�e prote�tor,
plu� the phone (or modem/sur�e prote�tor) into a different
lo�ation. If this does not solve the problem, relo�ate �our
phone or modem farther apart from one another, or use a
different sur�e prote�tor.

Move �our phone to a hi�her lo�ation. The phone ma� have
better re�eption in a hi�h area.
•
If other phones in �our home are havin� the same problem,
�onta�t �our telephone servi�e provider (�har�es ma� appl�).
