Troubleshooting
If �ou have diffi�ult� with �our telephone, please tr� the

In Canada, dial
The handset registration is unsuccessful.
•
Follow the handset re�istration instru�tions to re�ister the
handset a�ain (see Adding and registering handsets on
pa�es 8-9).
My telephone doesn't work at all.
•
Make sure the power �ord is se�urel� plu��ed in.
•
Make sure �ou plu� the batter� �onne�tor se�urel� into the
�ordless handset.
•
Make sure �ou plu� the telephone line �ord se�urel� and
firml� into the telephone base and the telephone wall ja�k.
•
Char�e the batter� in the �ordless handset for at least 11
hours. For optimum dail� performan�e, return the �ordless
handset to the �har�er when not in use.
•
If the batter� is depleted, �har�e the handset for at least 30
minutes before �ou use it. See pa�e 6 for details.
•
Reset the telephone base. Unplu� the ele�tri�al power. Wait
for approximatel� 15 se�onds, then plu� it ba�k in. Allow up
to one minute for the �ordless handset and telephone base
to reset.
You ma� need to pur�hase a new batter�. Refer to Battery
•
installation and charging in this user's manual on pa�es 6-7.
I cannot get a dial tone.

Tr� all the su��estions above.

Move the �ordless handset �loser to the telephone base. You
ma� have moved out of ran�e.
