Taking care of your telephone

handset in the rain, or handle it with wet hands. Do not install
the telephone base near a sink, bathtub or shower.

when usin� ele�tri� applian�es durin� storms.
Cleaning your telephone

Your telephone has a durable plasti� �asin� that should
retain its luster for man� �ears. Clean it onl� with a soft �loth
sli�htl� dampened with water or a mild soap.

Do not use ex�ess water or �leanin� solvents of an� kind.
Remember that ele�tri�al applian�es �an �ause serious injur� if used when
�ou are wet or standin� in water. If the telephone base should fall into
water, DO NOT RETRIEVE IT UNTIL YOU UNPLUG THE POWER CORD AND
TELEPHONE LINE CORDS FROM THE WALL. Pull the telephone out b� the
unplu��ed �ords.
